Goodbye cold weather!
In a few short days I will be here. Where is here? Orlando, Florida. Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa at Disney World. We check in on the 22nd and are there until the 28th. We may be leaving early though to hit Pensocola Beach. I can't wait to leave this yucky cold weather and go to where it is nice and warm. More importantly I can't wait for Abby to experience Disney again. She's been a few times before but she was really too little. She is almost 3 and is extremely excited to see the Princesses. Speaking of princesses here is a picture of my two.
Aren't they so cute? And here is a picture of the entire family.

see relatedI can't believe I'm updating already. I'm on a roll. Well I have more pictures to share. We had a birthday party for my mother-in-law Kim at my house a couple of weeks ago. I don't have a dining room and it was a large group so we had to clear out a place in our living room. Everyone seemed to have fun and enjoy it. Here are the pictures.
Abby and Ruth hanging out while I was preparing.
The table. Everyone had cookies with their names on them.
Nini and Abby with the cake.
Abby entertaining us.Friday night we hit the zoo. We're zoo friend members and they had a family fun night. All the rides were free. They had animal feedings, zoo keeper chats, and a teddy bear check up. Here is Abby and her friend Mary getting their bears checked out.
"Cinderella" getting her check-up.
Abby and her bear.
Both Abby and Mary with their bears. They had a great time. Blake and Ema's wedding is less than two weeks away. Hopefully I will have some great pictures from that. Abby is a flower girl with Josie. Callie is a bridesmaid, and Charles is helping officiate. Love to all!

Family of Four
Well it has been forever since I have written on this thing. I've been keeping up with everyone else, but just haven't had the energy or want to to do anything myself. Well, today I do. Of course much has happened. Ruth has arrived. Now Abby is a big sister. She loves it. This is Abby as an only child in May, at a birthday party.
Isn't she a cute kitty cat? Well Ruth Haley Foster was supposed to be born on July 20th. But when she showed no signs of wanting to enter the world, my midwife scheduled an induction for July 31st. I used a midwife this time and loved it. It was a million times better than using the doctor I had last time. I still had it at the hospital. I could not have a baby at home. I need pain medication.
We were scheduled to be at the hospital at 6 a.m. When I woke up at 4:30 to get ready I was having some pain and on the way to the hospital contractions began. So I didn't have to have my labor induced. Ruthie didn't arrive until 7:36 p.m. She was 8 lbs. 6 oz. and 21 inches long. The birth was good. She had the cord wrapped around her neck twice, but there were never any problems and everything went smoothly. Here she is.
Ok everyone at once . . . Awwwww! She is adorable. So now we are a family of four. Which is new and wonderful. Here is Charles introducing Abby to her new sister.
This is very sweet. I felt great and my midwife told me I could go home as soon as I wanted. I of course had to wait til the medication wore off and I could walk again. But we left out the next morning to be at home. And here are the three again at home the next afternoon.
Sorry it is sideways. Notice the matching outfits. The beauty of having two little girls. You get to dress them up the same.
Again this is sideways, but these are the pretty cowboy boots Papa Doug and Nana Carolyn bought her while they were here for the big event.
This was Ruthie 3 days after she was born. Notice that precious smile. She does that all the time. Previously I put pictures on here of Abby's room, which has dolphins painted on her walls. Well Ruthie has a farm themed room. Here are pictures. We sure are glad they have a talented Aunt Gigi.
This is Ruthie today. She loves her swing. She is a month and a half. At her month check up she was in the 90th percentile of her height and weight. She's a growing girl.
And here is Abby today drawing a masterpiece. Would you like to see it? Of course you would!
Although she is terrifed of creepy crawly things, she loves to draw spiders. Isn't she a great artist. Well that is enough for now. Hopefully it won't take me this long to post again.

It has been so long since I've had an entry and so much has gone on, I don't even know where to start. Christmas was a lot of fun. Spent time with Charles family and my family. Put together a program for church last minute and also put something together for our faculty Christmas party. Then soon after Christmas on the 14th my drama class at CCS had their play production. Glad that is over. Then we started a new semester with a new drama class and a new play. Then on the 20th we had Abby's 2nd birthday - Princess Style. I've been busy helping Charles. They've been in charge of some of the clean up work in OKC so I've been doing that paperwork and I will be glad when that is over! I'm now starting on the Easter program at church and helping put together a new program for the 2-5 year olds. So I've just been keeping myself busy. Not to mention how much Abby keeps me on my toes. She's learning all kinds of things. How to count to 12 and recognize numbers and colors just to name a couple. But I guess the biggest news of all is Charles and I are expecting baby number 2 on July 7th. I am in my 5th month and I will hopefully be getting an ultrasound next week. Everything seems fine for now. We are very excited. And I know Abby is going to make a great, bossy big sister.
I will leave you with some pictures and a video of Abby. We were reading her children's Bible and she saw a picture of Abraham praying with stars in the background and so she put her hands together, closed her eyes, and said "I wish, I wish." Charles and I cracked up. Then she goes on to entertain us with her animal sounds. ENJOY!
Okay, I couldn't get the video to work. Hopefully I can get it up tomorrow!
Abby enjoying her cinderella pillow.
